Pros
The u lock looks very sturdy, and is much tougher than chain locks against cable cutter. Although this seems beefy, it weighs less than my smaller abus.
For bike locks i prefer keyed to combo- i think they are less bulky. The lock is easy to operate.

The mount uses what amounts to 2 thick cable ties that can be tightened with a screwdriver. The lock also comes with a bracket for mounting it to your bike.
The base and the keys are symmetric, meaning that you can insert in any direction. I love how it took me a minute to figure out the key goes into that tiny slit at the bottom. The key and the lock works smoothly.
Cons
The key is so flimsy that if i twist it too hard, it will break. The mechanism to cover the keyhole frequently jams. The bike lock was cut with bolt cutters.
This is not weatherproof. Useless trash after 3 months. Very disappointed with this product. It is now useless.

I have used several different bike locks in my life but this one by via velo is by far the toughest one i have seen
My roommate has a kryptonite chain lock and i feel this is comparable to it in terms of chunkyness

You also receive 4 keys so i recommend keeping at least 2 of them locked in a safe at home just in case you lose the others
