Pros & Cons
Pros
The initial attraction is they are non toxic. The bonus is how well they work.
Water actually rinses the pan clean. It heats evenly and cleans like a dream.
Even if you're cooking pork chops with sauerkraut with no oil or added moisture, everything browns beautifully.
Cons
All that really chaps me are the inflated and exaggerated claims made by both manufacturers and retailers. One positive aspect is that it is lightweight.
The heating distribution in the pan is poor. The center is lower than the edges of the bottom so all the oil/sauce/butter/bacon fat pools in the middle.
