Pros

Love the removable pads to clean. I wish the memory foam pillows were a little thicker, but if the cats are happy using it as is, i won't worry about it.

The large base adds to sturdiness. You can't tighten anymore without using brute strength. It's sturdier than a previous tree we had which is a major plus.

This item fits with a more modern, contemporary look. It’s also beautiful and stylish. Cats love it. Would highly recommend this product.

Otherwise, you have to do some figuring how to make it work on your own.

Kitty is a former stray, and somewhat petite, ~11 pounds. She loves to sharpen her claws on the rope instead of our couch. My family has fat cats and i don’t know that they would find this roomy enough.

This is not an ideal perch for cats that like to stretch out like my cat versus cuddle. The platform is slippery for cats furry feet.

Strings are not safe for cats when they can not be monitored due to choking hazards. There is not enough padded material for them to grasp onto. Pre-fab tracks were damaged on both items as well as many corners of the boxes.

This was easy to assemble and is a quality product.

It's great quality the pads are nice and soft i would recommend this product.

The paper instructions with the cat tree lacked minimal detail to demonstrate the difference between a few similarly sized pieces.

He has yet to warm up to it, but i don't blame the product.

For $198 this should come with the correct friggin hardware!

Packaging/appearance

Packaging had a slight smell, but other than that it's perfect!

As you can see in one picture when assembling the box, i had to continually adjust the wrench to tighten the screws inside the box.

Lay it out, and it's twice as large as the packaging box.

Just have the retail packaging box, wrapped in a shipping box!

Competitiveness

If it came with clear directions, easily a five-star item.

The large base adds to sturdiness, which is important because i bought this for my x-large cat.

I mean if a 200lb man climbed aboard and danced the twist on top of it, it wouldn't handle it.

The catit youtube video helped a lot, but the paper instructions were still needed.

Some seller's resell products they get back from buyers, hoping the new buyers won't return.
