Tried different burners at different speeds with no luck. Cost per disc is more than doubled. Too many disk failures when verifying.

Verbatim seldom fails on me but the batch these came from were duds. At over $3.

From my own testing the media here is very sturdy and holds the information well

Used makemkv with 42gb movie and it burned this verbatim bdr dl disc in 26

I have had hard drive die and lose all of my footage

At the cost per unit it works great so i have external hard drives some thumb drives and these

These are the best available for the price

They are temptingly priced at about half the cost of the verbatim discs you see on this page

However still very cost efficient for storage
