    Hint, if you have to clamp vertically such as on seat post just remove clamp from stand and afix to bike before putting bike on stand.

    By the way, the tool tray goes on with the hex bolt *below* the adjuster bolt, don't be a dummy and put it on wrong like i did at first.

    Several reviewers have complained that the jaws do not open far enough to accept the tubes without backing off the locking cam, and that is true, thus the 4-star and not 5-star rating.

    The tubing of many modern bike frames more or less dictates that the user clamp the bike's seat post to the stand.
