The top slats are so far apart they would provide very little shade. This product is very weak and probably wont hold up but a couple of years.

I was excited to start assembling my venetian pergola only to find that the main posts are covered in scuff marks in the box

It appears as though aluminum shavings from the bars in the box were rubbing on the outside of the vinyl posts

All hardware is stainless steel and the stiffeners used in the cross members are aluminum

Probably half the time was spent measuring spacing out and leveling the inner 4x4 posts

Because the corner posts are not cemented in place my installation lacks some of the rigidity you get with cemented posts
