Most of us on gigabit internet only require cat6 but after seeing how unbelievably crappy every cat5e cable i owned was i went overboard and cat7 just the cables physically responsible for modem and router connectivity and cat6 for xbox ps4 blah blah

Pros——cat7 can also support 10 gbps but laboratory testing has successfully shown its ability to transmit up to 40 gb at 50 meters and even 100 gb at 15 meters
