Pros & Cons
Pros
Thin and runny but that makes it absorb well and cover a lot of surface. Very long lasting. Added instructions on best technique.
The great thing is you can put coat after coat winter after winter without prepping. Keeps water beading and mildew away.
Highlights
Quality
Applied with a sprayer that worked fine
This was easy to apply to my new 6 high cedar fence with a regular roller and a 434 roller for corners
Ratingtesting organizations say no brand of clear coating lasts longer than 4 years if that
The 6 fence 20 wide with 2 coats left perhaps a pint so i was able to use the gallon reprotecting an older cedar fences top rail
Price
For the 45 or 50 spent on this gallon i think my cedar with extra layers will stay bright a bit longer than that

Part of the reason so many knotholes in cedar i wanted them to soak up the cabots for maximum inandout protection

Then once there was extra cabots around the knotholes i rolled that out resulting in an additional coat
