I dont know if this changes for anyone i would expect all lg v20s to be the same but when looking directly at the screen the volume is on the left side and when using this case and placing it on its stand you cannot adjust the volume with the buttons unless you pick it up

If the stand was fixed to be on the other side where there are no buttons this wouldnt be a problem

The only possible negative is that the kickstand is so far to the bottom of the device that on anything less than a hard surface like a desk or tablecounter the phones own weight will cause it to tip

There are no special patterns on the inside of the case to protect the back from damage
