Overall i understand why the retail price is offputting and i agree i dont think the earbuds on their own are worth 180

Pricethe price is a bit steep but what you are paying for is for an audiophile level bass heavy earbud

Very clearly articulated without the sharpness or piercing that i get from the sennheisers

This pair from vmoda was better than either of the more expensive options

I ordered this product from the vmoda website meaning im not a verified purchaser here

If you are willing to shell out 300 id recommend looking into the sennehiser ie80 the rha t20 or the shure 425

Competitiveness

I own and have owned several sets of vmoda inear headphones

Also the immortal life warranty offered by vmoda makes these a great value and easily worth the price

It arrived early and was packaged well with a properlysized bubblewrap insulated package

I am running these through a vmoda dac and an iphone 5
