I had a more expensive light that didnt allow any work under the magnifier and if you held your work far enough away to keep from hitting the lens it was out of focus

The only thing that was wrong with this was that only came with the clamp and not the weighted table top stand

This lamp is a must for using as a nagnifier and doibg eyes and fur and with its natural daylight lamp you get acurate colors

Broad neutral white light and a very generous depth of field from the magnifier only minimal chromatic aberration at the very edges is noticeable on something like a sheet of paper
