I did replace the supplied faucet with a different unit for visual aesthetics reasons so cant attest to the function of the provided faucet

The others have little blue collars that must be removed then the bulge can be pushed in to remove the little trumpet protector

If you have major leaking the o ring did not seat and you need to start over

If the illustrations in the instructions were a bit clearer on the uv tube sleeve installation this would have been a 15 minute job although we had no prior filter installed we did have hole drilled for soap dispenser that we utilized for faucet
