The clip is quite stiff, meaning it will be secure, but the lead is quite thin and not so robust, so care will need to be taken not to snag it on something.

With a frequency range of 35hz to 18khz it is not really suitable for singing or recording live music in any quality, but when the mic is placed in the sweet spot will faithfully and clearly relay speech without a lot of background noise, and is thus much better suited to on-the-move note-taking & memos, vlogging, social media audio etc.

It can be plugged directly into a device for recording and everything just works straight away.

This usb tie clip mic is ok i have used it with my android phone for narration and it works fine generally and setup was easyit's obviously not an expensive piece of kit but it's fairly decent quality as long as its not to far away from the noise source and the gain is used correctly , there is a bit of noise from the clip but the wind shield is ok.

Not a professional piece of equipment but usable in a range of situations.

The virtues of a tie clip mike are obvious - you can direct your recording and limit background noise by moving the mike nearer the source, all of which are bound to affect your recording positively.
