It began charging and seemed to charge as quickly as the apple charger although i didnt do any detailed testing

I frequently use the apple digital av multiport adaptor to charge while i use usb devices so i got it out and plugged it in i soon realized that this charger does not work with that adaptor

When plugged in it charged the computer for about 5 seconds then it stopped and the computer switched back to battery power
