In a home with mixed microusb and usb-c devices these are very convenient, just clip one on each microusb cable to use as needed.
A while back i changed from a phone that took a mini-usb to a type c cable.
And, the adapter has the handy caribiner dangle for attachment.

Work well but cheaply made and breaks easily.

These were a quick fix and the clip is nice so if you do need to use the micro usb, the adaptor doesn't get lost.

The chain does break easily, which is not great for if it is a traveling cord.
