Connects instantly no hassles. Works great with my laptop. Allows me to connect my printer and other usb devices to my macbook air.

Cons

It take 45s to transfer 1gb. It's almost useless when you have more than 32 or 50gb to transfer. Ipad doe'snt even recognize it.

    I bought this adapter on a whim because i have an old sony a6000 camera but it’s so outdated that it wouldn’t allow me to transfer photos to my phone anymore and i’m not trying to buy another expensive camera

    Anyways i purchased this adapter and put the sd memory card from my sony camera and hooked it up to my 2021 macbook pro click ‘finder’ click ‘untitled’ on left hand side and click on the folder ‘dcim’

    I bought this because i have a evo instax camera and i wanted to be able to get my pictures from the camera and bring it to my phone and i couldnt do it until i found out about this now i get to take pictures and have it in my phone thanks to this card reader
