I have yet to use it to connect my phone or ipod on it so im not sure of the quality within the speakers and etc

The modes are as followsjust redjust greenjust bluered green and blue slow transitionrgb all onrgb medium transitionrgb fast transition with fade outrgb flashlaser mode shines a red laser no matter which led mode you are using so it would look like any mode plus red

The light shows up exactly as pictured once the shade is taken off
