Things i love about this heaterfirst of all the design

Aesthetically it was excellent and the adjustable thermostat being on the cord and not on the actual heater and not having to dip your hand into the tank to adjust the temp was a mega bonus

So 300w is supposedly enough for 60 gallons and it did its job on its minimum setting of 75°f but this is where hygger started falling flat

I prefer to keep my fancies at 65°f to 70°f so had planned on getting them a more suitable heater anyway but when i needed to treat one of my goldies for some fin rot thanks to a fellow tank mates fin nipping which has now dare i say been nipped in the bud i had to gradually move the temp up and at 77°f it just crapped out
