I just got my set of hfi780s and the build quality is awesome
My ever amazing wife got me these as a birthday gift and i am continually impressed with the quality
However the bass quality is solid doesnt sound boomy at all and is very precise
The sound quality is distant and the highs are extremely emphasized on these cans but theyre too darn good looking to send back
Price
For the price i paid 155 you cannot beat it
It does worth the original price
At full price somewhere around 270280 i would probably even still buy these over other headphones
Shipping
Great headphones and shipping was good
However if you can get it at around 150 with shipping just go and get a pair
Packaging/appearance
Sound so fari have been breaking these in for the past 18 hours essentially as soon as they got out of the box
Fairly high clamping pressure and pressure at contact points in the headband changemod the padding
Competitiveness
Much better than my senheiser hd280s in all three of these categories
I spent over an hour auditioning several akg beyerdynamic sennheiser sony and other brands
