The batteries go in at the bottom of the lamp which i had to unscrew

The lamp collapses and takes up very little room to store

Right now i either insert the little plastic piece it came with so one battery does not make contact with the terminal inside the lamp or i remove one of the batteries all together

It came with batteries but they were dead so i had to change them out and then it worked

It comes with starer double aas to get you going so you can test the brightest of these leds right away
