Pros
The rod and reel are both excellent for most if not all fish. It has a decent backbone (for a medium action rod), and enough sensitivity for smaller fish. The reel isn't the greatest, but more than serviceable for the price.
A beefy, low cost combo. Works flawlessly. Defiantly worth the money.
Use this combo for trolling for trout and land locked salmon. Serves me well for top line, dipsey divers and planer board trolling. Catches fish. Caught a nice size pike in muskegon lake.
Cons
Rod is fantastic reel was inoperative on arrival. The reel has a large gap at the sides of the spool.
Way to flimsy. Poorly packaged. Counter begins skipping around 60 ft.

Havent used it off the boat yet but it seems to be an excellent product
The reel seems to be of good quality
Love the rod good quality so far has enough backbone for 20lbs fish reel is poor only has 2 big
Competitiveness
I had 65lb test line on my reel and that catfish gave me an awesome fight
The rod is rated for up to 3oz of weight and has a nice flex to it
Maybe include a shorter insertable piece so you can cast in places with more overhang

The reels drag was all the way up and i was reeling but it still kept pulling out line i barely got him in

This is a good rod for small channels and blues and flats just not the big monsters that all of us want

So if i were gonna buy another get the rod use it and when you really get into catfishing get a way better reel to put on it
