This brand do do a higher wattage also available but that bulb is longer and wouldnt have fit in my light unit i dont think also i read somewhere that led bulbs are more effective in there wattage so the wattage neednt be as high as other types of bulbs to give the same effect also you want to find a bulb that will help your plants photosynthesise but not overly so if youre low tech like me because too much light will cause your plants to grow rapidly causing the need to add co2 and fertilisers and too little they wont grow at all and may die
