Pros
It lets me know at a glance when the temps are getting near their limits. The indicators are very bright but some tint film easily solved that. Easy to read and not overly bright.
They look great on my dash and i'm quite happy with them. Unit performs as expected. Easy to install.
Using this thermometer on my motorcycle to measure ambient temp. It works fine, and does have a trimmer to tweak calibration. A four-star thermometer.
Followed another reviewers advice and cut a small piece of neutral density filter material to insert over the readout. Now if you also want the border to insert in your panel so everything is leveled, that part is 47.
Cons
Display is hard to read in the daylight. Read entire description before purchasing. Dont buy doesn't work.

The calibration method is the followingstep1 find a standard thermometer and wrap the sensor of the standard thermometer with the sensor of the inaccurate thermometer for five minutes

Step 2 adjust the microadjustable resistor on the circuit board of thermometer by a small cross screw make sure that the display value is consistent with the standard thermometer

Step 3 keep the two wrapped temperature sensors suspended and do not touch the human body or other objects during the calibration
