Theyre more like something youd buy at a drugstore but youd pay a lot more for a lot less brushes at a drugstore

My only complaint if you can call it that is that the handles on some of the brushes are very long so the set is pretty large

Squeeze a few drops of mild shampoo baby shampoo works great too into the palm of your hand

You can also put a few drops of detergent in the bowl of water and swirl the brushes in there instead of using the palm of your hand
