Pros

They aren't the fastest for huge files, but they are a decent speed. I use the product with my embroidery machine. Copy songs or movies from you desktop computer and listen or watch on you phone or other type c device.

Upon plugging the c connector side into my macbook pro, there was a 'pop' and a wisp of smoke. Computer and pixel 2 xl see the same issue. Data transfer speed spikes for 0.

Buying the cheapest available is not always a good strategy. Various generic chip manufacturers. They're not even worth the cardboard box they come in.
