You will need to either take t his bike into a bike shop to get turned or have the knowledge on how to tune it up yourself because no bike comes out of the box tuned

It is nowhere close to an adult bikes first gear

It would improve the bike if they could figure out how to make the chain angle less extreme and the ratio easier to pedal in the lower gears

Bottom line this is a lot of bike that requires a child to have enough strength and size to handle
