    The only negative i have about the book is that the author is excessively biased towards older full keel sailboats

    Most of the purchase prices of course are much much lower than they were at its 1999 publication date but the boats themselves are the still among the best choice for those that want a seaworthy vessel that can be financially sustainable despite the financial commitment that comes with an old boat… after all the initial purchase price is just the beginning when considering slipmarina costs maintenancerepairs exponentially higher the bigger the boat haulouts not to mention the unexpected costs for those that venture longdistance
