Easy to assemble and sturdy. Solid, well-engineered, and a fine compliment to imac's design motif. It is imperative that you follow the simple assembly directions in order.
The twelve south hirise for imac is exactly as described and does just what it says. I understand that this is a discontinued product, but i'm glad i purchased it. Love it. Worth every penny.

It is also aesthetically appealing and worthy of being paired with an apple product. If you are an apple groupie you will love this as the aluminum matches up perfectly as well.
Cons
The finish is cheaply painted silver, not legit aluminum like my macbook pro. The photos of the product give the impression that they front panel is on a 'hinge or some other mechanism. Please do not use this for your mac mini.

If you care for such details the packaging was overthetop clean and stylish with foam rubber keeping all the pieces neatly snug
Even the packaging and presentation out of the box were a nice touch

Assuming you have one of these 3 devices you most likely value both form and function and versus its competitors the hirise is unparalleled
This is a fivestar item in every respect
For 50 and a noname burrs might be ok but for 70 and twelve south well thats quality slipping right there
Unfortunately rain design did not have a comparable model to the hirise
