It works with any standard type xbox controller. Works great with original xbox one controller. Socket) works perfectly to connect a headset to the older style xbox 1 controller.
For 25 pounds worth buying. Imo. Well worth the money. Worth a buy just for the quality of life improvements and audio improvement.
Cons
Worked for 3 weeks and then kaput. It's not very impressive, it's a pain to plug in and unplug.

It works perfectly can mute headset with ease and adjust volume to how you like only down thing when you want to take of the controller it feels like it’s glued onto controller so feels like you almost break it getting off
