Half of the nuts were discolored with the shells having a strange very dark grey-ish tinge to them. These seem like they literally scraped the bottom of the nut barrel and sent them abroad, charging high prices for them.

At the end of the day it is great to be able to find and buy it and with a decent price

Turkish pistachios were and will be an expensive item as it is not grown as much and available like the california ones
