It skims a little wet, well at least the way i have it set up and i get a nice looking green tea. I have a few things to figure out (such as extra media filters) and haven’t quite dialed in the skimming just yet. The surface skimming is awesome.
Cons
While the skimmer is running, it continuously overfills the cup. Poor construction allows them to leak out of seams everywhere.
The manuals have pictures which are dark and illegible. There is no way to see what parts go where, no schematics. The diagrams are small with poor contrast. The faq repeatedly states that this is supposed to have an american style plug.

Just be careful with the plastic clips that secure the magnets on the back of the unit
Sometimes you have to spend a little more to get quality

It will cloud your tank with tiny bubbles when new and in certain situations thereafter even after break in
