Pros

A beast to set. It's a little tricky to set at first, but once you figure it out it's fairly easy.

Peanut butter mixed with almonds and sunflower seeds are irresistible baits for squirrels. Used a small spatula to put peanut butter above trigger pan. Have been using kind honey cereal bars, raisins, cranberries and grapes with great success (in the ...  Read More

Quality

Have been using kind honey cereal bars raisins cranberries and grapes with great success in the spring

Shockingly easy to use and astoundingly affective

You lay mulch down and within a few days it looks like a mini bombing range with divots everywhere and your flowers pulled out

Apparently the skunk was able to drag its self with the trap about 3 yards before it finally stopped and died

Price

I will give it 4 stars only because its a bit expensive

Bottom line very pleased with the results but 1 star off because it is rather expensive for what it is

The neighborhood is overrun with squirrels billions of them

If it were not for the price i would have them all over clean kill no blood and guts for the homeowner to clean up

Shipping

This was delivered a few hours ago and it has already proven successful

I placed it outside near the area that i have seen them and got 2 in one day

I got a squirrel the very first day and within a week i had taken out 4 or 5 squirrels and 2 chipmunks

Packaging/appearance

Hope i got it set right as there were no instructions in the box

The traps were all set with peanuts and butter a present for our neighborhood squirrel

Competitiveness

It would be better if this could be avoided but ill continue to use the trap because i dont know of a better alternative

The very destructive chipmunks i deal with the havahart traps
