Even recording very calm spoken word for meditations this is not picking up background noise or adding much crackle or hiss on its own part

I streamed with a room fan going full blast 8 feet from the mic and with it turned correctly there was no background hum over the twitch feed when i spoke

Back in the day it was a very cheap german brand all the trust peripherals were cheap plastic and did a very basic job

In this instance i do need to turn my head a little towards the microphone but thats more to do with it being a cardioid microphone rather than say an omni directional one

It has a pop compressor inbuilt which means that when it clips it doesnt lose fidelity
