Pros
Sail out into dangerous seas and thar be monsters.
Works perfectly with logitech c920 web camera. Works great, bought the 5 meter cable, attached it another 5 m cable to run a camera. This is capable of extending the xbox one kinect without issue.
Cons
Windows reports a request for the usb device descriptor failed. Video is extremely choppy. I read that sometimes plugging it into a different usb port worked, but nope.

Price
It is a bit more expensive than i would like but for the peace of mind of knowing you dont have to return it i think it is worth it

All i ther brands of extension cables fail to allow the camera to connect so i am very happy either tripplite usb extension cable
After trying a few other brands i had all but given up on a long usb 3 run

I’ve heard you can get ones that have that amplify or have a power adapter to get more length but all i just wanted was a little more slack
