Pros & Cons

Pros

The mounting tabs are convenient for mounting, but must be drilled first for screws. The power cord is heavy gauge and the perfect length to reach my wall outlet behind the bench. It has tabs on the sides with a dimple you can drill out.

The switch holds up to daily use like a champ. The switch cover isn't necessary for my use but could see it being useful to avoid someone bumping into the switch. The only thing is the switch cover box is a little flimsy.

Solid construction, nice tight outlets, not much to complain about. The sockets are nice and snug but not too tight. Can withstand flying shrapnel.

This fits the bill perfectly. I suspect that this will outlast me. It's functional and reliable. It handles it fine.

Cons

Doesn’t make any difference what is plugged into it. The product photo is incorrect.

This review mostly concerns the sound quality of this 5outlet power distributor

However the previously mentioned audio attributes improved even further when i disconnected the waber outlet strip instead plugged the cd player into the wall using a simpler cheaper 3 to 2 prong adapter

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The glare slightly gritty treble disappeared when plugging into the wall outlet bypassing the power strip as though a window had just been cleaned with windex applied with a newspaper

Buy the better made and slightly more expensive ones to avoid fires as reported

Now they are 29 after being discounted from 44

At 2x the price of a cheapie you are getting 10x the value

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It has a breaker on it that has popped once or twice when i had my air compressor plugged into it though that is a good thing

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Id much rather the breaker pop than to have a fire
