If you are using existing cat5e that was used initially for phone lines then make sure you purchase cat5e punch down jacks for the wall connections in your rooms

Once mounted the concern was the cat5 plugs would stick out too far to close the door on the media cabinet

After installation i think it would fit if you carefully bend the cat5 down to fit inside
