If you are like I use to be, you probably think all trimmer lines are created equal. You would be wrong. I judge line primarily on two criteria: cutting ability and durability. Black Diamond excels in both. One of the ways I determine cutting ability and durability is on how the line performs when edging along lawn and concrete. Here the string is called upon to remain stable so a clean straight line can be achieved and since it is also striking a hard surface one can easily tell how long it lasts. At first I did not believe Echo's claim that the string made the trimmer head rotate more uniformly with less flopping around. But I can tell you after two seasons of usage this is exactly true. I can say this is some good line if not great. Can't say it's the greatest cuz I haven't tried them all. I did my own research (youtube) before buying, yes I got the .105 its the same diameter as the .095 of other line. I bought a brand new echo 266 & I'm not sure if line came on it or not. I'm considering purchasing this again, whenever it runs out. I like to use different line for different applications but Right now I've loaded it on all 3 of my weed trimmers. I bragged on it so hard I rolled off bout 16ft for a coworker to try so he can buy some.  Read Less
