This camera requires a bit of tweaking of the settings to wring the best video quality out of the image. Images are much better now, but still a little blurry. Compatible with synology nas ds1515+3- easy to install.

Trendnet cameras have never given me a single glitch in 3 years. They work with android and ios apps and the performance is great. I wish it worked with linux, but i have it set up and can watch outside from my basement office.

The image is noisy under all conditions, including long exposures. Night vision is mostly useless on this camera. At night, when the camera goes into infrared night vision mode, the frame rate drops to 4 fps which is useless.

I manged to mount to a 434 round bell box plastic blank and then mount that to a 434 round bell box
The box also contains a tricky waterproof connector to attach to your cat 56s rj45 connector where you attach it to the camera

This is rebranded hikvision 3mp bullet camera ds2cd2032i it will accept the current usa firmware for it from hikvision website it will not or at least i could not downgrade the firmware using 34whoislooking34 s v5

Keep in mind flashing to hikvisions firmware will void the warranty

But i could not the the camera to work using the onvif protocol to work with my hikvision ds 7608 ni e28p nvr hence why i flashed it with the 34downgrade kit34 but went up in firmware

Once flashed to the new firmware you have to activate the camera via hikvisions sadp software i use a laptop and a trendnet poe injector and 2 patch cables

I also did not enable dhcp set the ip manually and set the ipv4 gateway to that of my nvr

Then you plug it in to a poe port of your nvr

All my management of my cameras is done via web browser through the nvr and not direct from the nvr since my nvr is remotely located
