You can spend a lot more money and not get any better performance

I run a trendnet tew828dru off of a verizon fios actiontec mr424 because it has better wifi than the wifi on the actiontec the actiontec handles dhcp the trendnet is being used for wifi only

Its always a pain when a device runs in a different ip range home network is 192

Xx but using the wifes laptop followed the instructions on page 30 and linked it into the home network

I did have one glitch when i upgraded the firmware in the 828dru and rebooted the router no one could pull an ip anymore

I powered down both routers and the 815dap turned them back on in sequence and was back in play

Occasionally have to reboot it because the traffic stops passing even though im connected with 45 bars and have disabledreenabled the adapter on my wireless device to no avail

The range isnt quite what i was hoping for in an ap so i bought a 2nd unit to help
