    That being said, the spring action is so strong that it actually broke one of the bait cups that attaches to the underside of the trap.

    I live on a farm, and we are constantly dealing with norway rats in the livestock sheds and chicken coops.

    Just make sure to tie a string or cable (they have a hole for this built in) to the trap and something secure, as the rats will otherwise occasionally take off with them.

    I bought some traditional wire snap traps, i bought an electrocution-style trap, some sticky-trap-their-feet traps, and some of these plastic snap traps.
