Great product works like it should and as described
It is faster and everything connected to it is running at 1000 so im happy with the 16
The product still works though and would have received 5stars if not for the 2star tech support
I dont know who designs home switches with the power and ethernet cables coming in from opposite sides

I replaced a 100mb switch with this 1gb switch and now i can use the full bandwidth of my 250mb comcast connection
I had to replace my cat5 with cat6 to get consistent connection not to mention speed but that should be common knowledge in it
Added this to a eero mesh network

My only real complaint is at some point tplink changed the design to have only the power led on the front instead of power and port leds

While id prefer port leds not too big or bright on the front some people will appreciate theyve made it even more inconspicuous by removing them

Minor issues the device is extremely light it would have been great if they had anti slip pads at the bottom of the device so it wont keep sliding around on my table

However when asking tech support what i thought was a simple question the tech support person proceeded to answer different questions than i was asking then seemed to copy and paste text from the web essentially telling me what i already knew and giving the impression that they were unfamiliar with the device

The tech support then proceeded to tell me that the cable goes between the router and the device and not directly answer my question
