Took it out of the box read instructions plugged unit into several outlets to check signal strength and viola it works
After pressing a couple of buttons on the gateway and the extender i took the tplink to the second floor and plugged it into a wall outlet

I got this product so i could be on zoom upstairs in my bedroom which doesnt get a strong enough connection from my normal router

Its a good price point but every 34 weeks the internet connection stops working all together
