I ordered a set of letter inserts chrome and they arrived with one letter loose in the bag as expected from reading the prior reviews

I think these letters are cut with a laser from chrome yellow or red plastic those are the only available colors

The red backing that covers the 3m must get a temporary spray on adhesive to make it stick to the paper for shipping

As the instructions state at least one of the letters will have its white face protector peeled back to show that you need to remove the white protective layer

I used an xacto knife to chamfer the edges of all the letters then peeled the white protector off

Then removed the red 3m backing and carefully placed each letter in its respective indent on the dash

I am much happier with the results of this product over the decalsticker version
