It was frustrating because i had read other reviews and i figured the vendor would have to be stupid to continue shipping a product that is otherwise super quality except for the design flaw on the locking pin

I just dont get why the vendor is willing to ship a product that doesnt work for about 110 of customers when they can fix it by adding 14 inch to the pin design

They can ship it with a 5 cent washer if they are concerned the fit isnt snug enough on some vehicles

Im guessing the cost of a replacement pin that other reviewsers had to purchase was as much as 10 an unacceptable increase in the cost
