Many times shows that i've recorded playback in black-and-white as the vcr appears to have difficulty locking onto the color. Frankly, it's not worth the cost.

You just plug in your tv connections and then the vcr to the electrical outlet and walk away from it for an hour

I recieved it plugged it in and it stood there flashing auto at me

Within 5 minutes it had automatically set the time and scanned all available channels

To record from the remote one has to push two buttons and the instructions are not quite clear on this
