The line that comes with the float is super thin and prone to tangle so i promptly switched it out with a 75 piece of paracord from a hardware store

But just know that the flag isnt legal size so you will need to rig another flag on it if you need a legal size dive flag

Also the clips on the line feel very cheap and are for very low duty working loads

The line its self is a cheap nylon cored that i wouldnt trust to have more then 50lbs tinsel strength

I think that the line and clips would work fine for just clipping the rope on and having the float fallow you around in the water but i wouldnt trust it to any kind of working load

I took it free diving and attached it to the back of my gun

Ill admit the float line and clips are a tad cheap but ill eventually replace it
