The light shines brightly and you can adjust the brightness with the dial on the side. I love that it is usb rechargeable. Just puff on the top or take the top off to cut down on condensation from exhalation.

You charge the lamp by usb and the most fun part about this is that to turn it on and off you blow into the lamp as you would a real kerosene lamp
