If you are having an issue with overheating and electric fan not engaging this is very likely the root cause if it is sticking shut it will not allow coolant to go through the radiator and since the electric fan switch is in lower radiator hose it will never see a high enough temp to make the electric fan engage

Fit perfectly has been performing ok for the last 3 weeks my last one a different brand lasted only 9 months
