Pros

Easy to install, easy to adjust and shift cleanly. There was a drastic learning curve.

Gary fischer zebrano hybrid. Bought these to replace the ef29 shifters on my 13 year old gary fischer fischer hybrid. Made my old mountain bike shift and brake like new again. Nice upgrade to worn out shifters of my 20 year old diamondback.

This shifting leaver makes it easy to replace not only the brake cabal, but also the gear cabal. Smooth shifting and no jamming.

Cons

It's a shame as these do look like nice shifters.
