They attach securely to a belt or a waistband (i wear a drawstring swimsuit due to 90+ temperatures) it attaches easily to belt or pocket and it holds the pruners securely. It slips easily on your jeans or pants without having to use a belt.

These are a keeper! I wish i had known these existed sooner!

They fit snugly into this holster & stay put even when i'm doing trail work. There is a little bit of friction getting my felco pruners in, because of the hinge bolt, but its not that much trouble. The clipper fits snugly and won't fall out.

The riveted construction should work for a long time. I carry pruning shears often and others have failed. It's durable and will save me from dropping and dulling the points of my expensive sissors, pruners and shears.

The pruners slide in/out of it smoothly, without snagging on anything. Rigid case means the tool could slip out technically but that requires inversion.

The material feels cheap, and it is already showing wear and cracking in the leather. The motion of going up a ladder is enough to make my pruners fall out of the holster. A fatal flaw for an otherwise great product.
